As Manchester City clinch a crucial 2-1 away win in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Paris-Saint Germain, many supporters have been blown away by the performance of Oleksandr Zinchenko after he came on with half an hour remaining. 

Pep Guardiola’s men fought back bravely from 1-0 down in the first period after Marquinhos gave PSG a deserved early lead, with City struggling to cope with them at times at the Parc des Princes.

However, over the next 45 minutes, City stamped their authority on proceedings and started to dominate in what was a memorable Champions League night for Sky Blues.

Kevin De Bruyne’s curling delivery found it’s way past Keylor Navas and into the corner for a deserved equaliser and Riyad Mahrez gifted City the lead soon after with an acute free-kick through the PSG wall.

One man who many supporters thought went ‘under the radar’ is Zinchenko, and it’s not surprising given he largely mitigated the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria upon his introduction.

He also notched an assist for De Bruyne, won all of his ground duels and managed the best match rating out of any City defender (SofaScore) – including Ruben Dias.

Paulo Nobre, presidente do clube, se disse favorável à medida. O dirigente só fez a ressalva de que a ação precisa ser “lapidada” para não causar transtornos a torcedores.

“Convidamos, inclusive, a diretoria do Palmeiras a descer do seu camarote no Allianz Parque, palco recente de agressões precipitadas por membros de seu corpo diretivo – estas jamais alvo de sanções por parte dos mesmos órgãos de controle ‐ para acompanhar em harmonia os jogos ao lado de sua torcida”, acrescenta o texto.

A source from Tottenham Hotspur has dropped a worrying two-word bombshell on Harry Kane.

According to Football Insider, a source has claimed that the England international captain is ‘hell bent’ on engineering a summer move away from Spurs after they lost the Carabao Cup final 1-0 to Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening.

Kane has made it privately clear that he would like to challenge at the very top and win major trophies, and that may not be possible at the North London club given their latest failure and the fact that he is not getting any younger.

However, sources have also claimed that he would like to stay in the Premier League as he is ‘desperate’ to beat the goal scoring record set by Alan Shearer, but Daniel Levy does not want to sell to a team in the top flight.

Tottenham must keep Kane

If the Lilywhites have any ambition to win trophies in the near future, they must try and keep hold of Kane at all costs.

The 27-year-old is simply too important to the side right now, with no fewer than 31 goals scored and a further 16 assists in 44 games in total over all competitions across the 2020/21 term so far (Transfermarkt), a simply remarkable return.

Nonetheless, it may hinge on the striker over whether he wants to stay at THFC, but they must show some more ambition in the transfer market to give them the best possible chance.

مثلما أنهى الشوط الأول، بدأ تشيلسي الثاني بخطورة كبيرة وأهدر ماونت انفرادًا تام بمرمى ليفربول بعد أن وجد نفسه أمام الحارس كيليهير، ليسدد في القائم الأيسر للحارس الأيرلندي.

الدقيقة 64 انفرد محمد صلاح بمرمى تشيلسي، ووضع الكرة من فوق ميندي ولكن تياجو سيلفا أبعدها ببراعة من على خط المرمى لينقذ البلوز.

3 دقائق وسجل ليفربول أخيرًا، لتنفجر مدرجات ملعب ويمبلي، لكن تقنية الـVAR، ألغت هدف جويل ماتيب بداعي التسلل على فيرجيل فان دايك.

الدقيقة 75 شهدت تألق جديد للحارس الأفضل في العالم إدواردو ميندي عندما انقذ انفراد تام أمام لويس دياز.

دخول الثنائي تيمو فيرنر ولوكاكو، كان سببًا وراء هدف تشيلسي قبل ربع ساعة من النهاية، لكن الحكم احتسب تسلل على فيرنر الذي مهد الكرة لـ هافيرتز وسجل هدف أبيض جديد.

الدقيقة 80 اقحم كلوب 3 لاعبين، ولكن التغيير الأبرز كان خروج ساديو ماني الذي كان غاضبًا من قرار المدرب الألماني، وخرج وعلى وجهه ملامح الغضب، ليدخل بدلًا منه ديوجو جوتا.

مع الدقيقة الأخيرة، كاد ليفربول أن يسجل هدف عن طريق فيرجيل فان دايك ولكن تصدي رائع لـ إدواردو ميندي أنقذ به الكرة من على خط المرمى.

وفي الدقيقة 95، كاد تشيلسي يقتل ليفربول برصاصة لوكاكو، لكن السد المنيع كيليهير تألق وأبعد الكرة بالقدم بعد تسديدة البلجيكي.

انتهى الوقت الأصلي وامتدت المباراة إلى الوقت الإضافي الذي كان هادئ نسبيًا في شوطه الأول، باستثناء هدف ملغي لـ روميلو لوكاكو، بسبب التسلل على تيمو فيرنر.

لتدخل المباراة فيما بعد الـ100 دقيقة، وتمتد لشوط رابع دون تسجيل أي هدف، مع تألق للحراس.

في الشوط الرابع، سجل تشيلسي هدف ثالث يلغيه الحكم، بداعي التسلل على كاي هافيرتز، بينما ليفربول يغيب هجوميًا.

في الدقيقة 114 استغل محمد صلاح خطأ روديجير، ولكن لم يتمكن التعامل مع الكرة سواء بالتمرير أو التسديد.

قبل 3 دقائق من نهاية المباراة، دخل كيبا أريزابالاجا في آخر تغييرات تشيلسي بدلًا من إدواردو ميندي، من أجل ركلات الترجيح.

ذهبت المباراة إلى ركلات الترجيح، ولم يتصدى أي حارس لأي ركلة، وسجل ليفربول 11 ركلة في كيبا، بينما تشيلسي سجل 10 ركلات فقط.

كيبا الذي سجل من أجل يقود تشيلسي، كان سببًا في خسارة البلوز بعدما أهدر ركلة الترجيح الحادية عشر، ولم يتصدى لأي ركلة.

A number of Liverpool fans have been bemoaning a statistic regarding Thiago, claiming the Reds have ‘ruined’ him after a stunning run of trophy wins.

The Spaniard was a hugely exciting summer arrival from Bayern Munich last year, having earned a reputation as one of the world’s best central midfielders.

Thiago had starred for Bayern in their treble-winning 2019/20 campaign, which culminated in them winning the Champions League.

The 29-year-old’s first season at Liverpool has been a disappointment, however, with a three-month injury absence curtailing his progress significantly.

He came back into a team in crisis, with injuries all over the place and key men performing well below their usual world-class level.

Liverpool’s failure to defend their Premier League crown means Thiago’s run of 11 straight seasons of winning at least one trophy will come to an end, as pointed out by @PassLikeThiago on Twitter.

A temporada de novelas do mercado do futebol para 2017 teve seu pontapé inicial dado no Vasco com o Pedro Bambu. Na sexta-feira passada, o clube encaminhou o acerto com o volante, então no Atlético-GO, até o fim de 2018, mas a história vazou na imprensa antes do término da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro e isso não foi visto com bons olhos pela cúpula de São Januário. Neste primeiro momento a decisão dos dirigentes da equipe carioca foi a de suspender a negociação, mas ainda não descartá-la por completo.

O caso levou o Vasco a divulgar inclusive uma nota oficial no início da tarde deste sábado, horas antes de a bola rolar para a partida contra o Criciúma, em Santa Catarina, onde uma vitória garantirá o retorno da equipe de São Januário à elite do futebol brasileiro em 2017. No texto (confira íntegra do comunicado abaixo), o clube ressalta entretanto que “não contratou e nem contratará” Pedro Bambu. Ainda argumenta que o caso “é grave pois visa tumultuar o ambiente do time”.

A ideia nos membros do Vasco que lidam com futebol (vale lembrar que o vice da pasta José Luis Moreira segue licenciado por problemas pessoais) era a de levar para o atual elenco o planejamento de 2017 somente com o fim da temporada. A posição de volante é uma das que mais tem nomes atualmente – como Douglas, Bruno Gallo, Julio dos Santos, William, Diguinho e Marcelo Mattos – e a notícia da chegada de um “concorrente” antes da garantia do acesso é considerada como perigosa para que o prestígio dos que já estão no grupo não seja abalado.

O LANCE! tentou contato com o empresário de Pedro Bambu, Emerson Bicuda, além do próprio volante, mas eles não foram encontrados até o fechamento desta reportagem. Vale lembrar que o representante do jogador chegou a confirmar o acerto ao longo da sexta-feira.

Nem tudo foi festa após a vitória por 1 a 0 do Internacional sobre o Cruzeiro. Divulgada no fim da noite deste domingo, a súmula do árbitroMarcelo Aparecido de Souza relatou que o uso de sinalizadores afetou o andamento da partida no Beira-Rio:

“Informo que, durante o hino nacional, foram acesos sinalizadores de fumaça na cor na torcida do Inter, atrás de uma dos gols. Foram apagados antes do inicio do jogo. A partida foi paralisada aos 2 minutos do primeiro tempo em razão de (novos ) sinalizadores aceso. Informo que os mesmos foram atirados fora do campo de jogo, atrás do gol defendido pelo Inter”.

Alguns sinalizadores chegaram a ser atirados na direção do gramado e, até o momento, não há informações de torcedores feridos. Durante a partida, jogadores pediram à torcida para evitar acender os artefatos.

In what has been a rather disappointing end to the Premier League season, Aston Villa played out a goalless draw against Everton on Thursday evening.

Dean Smith’s side were very much in contention for a European place for next season, but Jack Grealish’s untimely injury has proven to be a major stumbling block; and while the England international made his return yesterday, he couldn’t inspire a late winner.

The Villa manager has some big decisions to make over the summer, and over these final couple of games – not least keeping Ross Barkley away from the starting line-up.

The Chelsea loanee has endured a difficult campaign at Villa Park after a promising start, failing to score in the top flight since the end of January when he netted against Southampton in a 1-0 win.

Against his former club on Thursday, Barkley was nowhere to be seen once again. As per Sofascore, he finished the game with a 6.5 match rating, the lowest of any Villa player on the pitch, and only just higher than Everton’s Allan (6.4).

He had no shots on goal, failed to complete either of his two attempted dribbles and failed to provide an accurate cross. All in all, he lost possession on 13 separate occasions, the joint-most of any Villa player alongside Bertrand Traore, while he lost 100% of his duels on the night – an incredibly lightweight performance from someone who has been well off the pace. In his post-match player ratings for the Birmingham Mail, Ashley Preece gave him a score of 5.5, writing: “Started with a spring in his step on what was his final appearance at Villa Park knowing he cannot play against parent club Chelsea on the final game of the season.

“Barkley looked confident but, when Villa needed some magic, he failed to produce and was far too deep at times as Davis looked for someone to play with. It was another underwhelming performance from Barkley which have been all too commonplace this season.”

Make no mistake about it, Villa must not contemplate signing the £18m-rated midfielder on a permanent deal this summer and must let him head back to Stamford Bridge.

يرى عصام مرعي لاعب الزمالك الأسبق، أن طارق حامد نجم وسط الفريق الأبيض ليس له بديل في مصر، مُشيرًا إلى أن قرار رحيل الفرنسي باتريس كارتيرون جاء متأخرًا.

وقال عصام مرعي خلال تصريحاته ببرنامج “بوكس تو بوكس” عبر قناة “etc”: “طارق حامد ليس له بديل في الزمالك لكن هذا لا يمنع أنه في حاجة لتطوير مستواه”.

ويُعاني طارق حامد من إصابة في الركبة جعلته يغيب عن الزمالك خلال التفرة الماضية، وحاليًا يُجري مرحلة التأهيل من أجل العودة لصفوف الفريق.

وتابع: “ظهرت الحاجة لخدمات طارق حامد بشكل أكبر في مباراة الوداد المغربي، نبيل دونجا لاعب بيراميدز كان البديل الأمثل لطارق حامد في بداياته، لكن من الصعب أن يفرط فيه بيراميدز الآن”.
