Confira a lista de relacionados do Corinthians:

Goleiros: Caíque França, Cássio e Matheus Donelli
Laterais: Fábio Santos, Fagner e Lucas Piton
Zagueiros: Gil, João Victor e Raul Gustavo
Meio-campistas: Adson, Cantillo, Du Queiroz, Gabriel, Gabriel Pereira, Giuliano, Gustavo Mantuan, Luan, Renato Augusto, Vitinho e Xavier
Atacantes: Gustavo Silva, Jô, Marquinhos e Róger Guedes

Advanced talks: West Ham close to signing £20m "monster" alongside Fullkrug

West Ham United are thought to be in advanced talks to complete their fourth signing of the window, with a £20m "monster" saying "yes" to the Irons.

Defenders wanted at West Ham

So far this summer, technical director Tim Steidten has made three new signings, with the most expensive and most recent being Wolves centre-back Max Kilman. Julen Lopetegui worked with Kilman at Molineux and the 27-year-old is excited at the prospect of playing under the Spaniard once again after penning a seven-year contract at the London Stadium.

“I really enjoyed working with Julen during his time at Wolves – he’s a top-class coach and someone I learned a lot from, and I am confident I will continue to improve as a player under his management here.

“West Ham is a massive Club and I feel this is the natural next step forward in my career. Playing in front of a passionate fan-base, with 62,500 supporters packing out London Stadium every other week, is something I am incredibly excited about.

“Having spoken at length to both Julen and Tim [Steidten], I was hugely encouraged about the ambition of the Club and their plans for the future. They want to make a big noise here at West Ham and as a new player coming in, that’s an incredible thing to hear.”

Alongside Kilman, though, more defensive additions are wanted ahead of the upcoming campaign, however, deals for Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters and AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori are both thought to be off.

Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo is another move that looks set to fall through despite a deal being agreed, with the player wanting to join Juventus instead. Alongside the trio, Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui also won’t be heading to the London Stadium, with a move off and West Ham focusing instead on Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It looks as if a deal for the United right-back is showing promise, going on the latest update.

West Ham in advanced Wan-Bissaka talks

According to Football Insider, West Ham are in advanced talks with Man Utd over a deal to sign Wan-Bissaka that could be worth up to £20m.

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The 26-year-old has said “yes” in principle to joining West Ham and the Irons are close to reaching an agreement. The Red Devils signed Wan-Bissaka for £50m back in 2019 from Crystal Palace, but selling him to West Ham will allow them to accelerate their interest in former Hammers target Mazraoui.

Should a deal go through, Wan-Bissaka could join Borussia Dortmund forward Niclas Fullkrug at the club, with a deal for the German thought to be advancing.

Wan-Bissaka has been regarded as "a real monster in defence" by the likes of football talent scout Jacek Kulig, and by the looks of things, Lopetegui could soon be looking to get the best out of him at the London Stadium.

Move over Ugarte: Man Utd could sign dream £30m Casemiro upgrade

Manchester United’s 2024/25 season got underway with a defeat against bitter cross-city rivals Manchester City last weekend. The Red Devils suffered penalty heartbreak against their bitter rivals in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium, after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes. A goal from Alejandro Garnacho was cancelled out by Bernardo Silva’s late equaliser before the Cityzens won on penalties.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping that his United side can be much improved this term and finish higher than last season’s eighth in the Premier League. It was a torrid time for the Red Devils despite victory in the FA Cup, a title which snuck them into the Europa League for the 2024/25 campaign.

Indeed, Ten Hag’s side finished on 60 points last term, although according to Understat’s expected points metric, they massively overachieved. As per the metric, the Old Trafford club should have finished 14th, with just 44.42xPTS. However, it did not turn out that way, and they scraped into Europe and an eighth-place finish.

United have already turned to the transfer market this summer to help bolster their chances of a better campaign, and have made four signings. However, they might not be done yet, and have been recently linked with one man who could bolster the squad in midfield.

Man Utd target Championship midfielder

The player in question here is Burnley midfielder Sander Berge. The 26-year-old former Sheffield United player has been linked with a move away from the Clarets since their relegation last season and was not involved in their game against Luton Town on Monday.

As reported earlier this week by The Athletic, the Red Devils are still interested in acquiring the services of Berge this window. As per the report ‘talks continue’ between the club and Berge’s entourage, and he is one of the midfielders on their list of targets this summer.

Sander Berge for Burnley

In terms of a price, The Athletic reported that the Norweigan is valued above £20m by the Clarets. However, other reports suggest that figure is as high as £30m if United want to sign Berge this summer.

That is certainly cheaper than another of United’s midfield targets, Manuel Ugarte. The Red Devils have chased the Paris Saint-Germain star all summer, but are somewhat put off by the price tag worth upwards of £59m slapped on the Uruguayan by the French giants.

Why Berge would be a good signing

The 26-year-old was a key man for Vincent Kompany’s Burnley side last season, and often looked “a class above” the rest of his teammates, as Sky Sports presenter Dougie Cricthley has previously described him.

Sander Berge for Burnley.

Last campaign for the Clarets, he played 37 out of their 38 Premier League games, missing only one game in January. For the most part, he completed 90 minutes, playing 3006 minutes in total, and managed to chip in with one goal and two assists.

Should United sign the Norway international this summer, he could prove to be a dream upgrade on Casemiro. The experienced Brazilian struggled for form last term, with Jamie Carragher suggesting "he needs to call it a day at this level and move" over the summer.

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.

A transfer for the veteran has not yet materialised, but if United were to replace Casemiro with Berge, it would be a smart move. The former Sheffield United midfielder is similar to the current United man in terms of being a strong ball-winner, but he is also much fitter and able to cover ground more easily.

In fact, that is represented in their FBref stats, too. The pair are very similar, and per 90 minutes average the same amount of ball recoveries per game, with 6.05 each. Berge also has a higher success rate when it comes to dribblers tackled, with 58.6% compared to the Brazilian’s 48.1%. That shows great maturity in the Burnley man’s game and the fact he does not just lunge into tackles randomly.

Should the Red Devils decide to push forward with a move for the 26-year-old, Berge could be an excellent replacement for Casemiro as they look to potentially phase out the former Madridista, or simply manage his game time better.

For just £30m, this seems like a smart, bargain alternative to the more costly Ugarte, that will allow them to save money and invest it elsewhere in the squad, whilst also adding quality and depth in the centre of the park.

Ugarte – who is believed to be pushing for a move to Manchester – is the main talking point at present, but overlooking Berge could represent a mistake for United.

Bad news for Lewis-Skelly: Arsenal submit offer to sign £30m star

On the pitch, preseason couldn't really be going much better for Arsenal this summer.

They've played four official friendlies so far, and their last one against Bayer Leverkusen last night saw them put in an utterly dominant display against a team that won the Bundesliga undefeated last season.

There were a number of stand-out performers for the Gunners, from Kai Havertz to Leandro Trossard, but as he did in the games in the USA, 17-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly once again shone in the North Londoners defence.

In fact, the teenager was so impressive, that there have been murmurings about him getting a chance to play at left-back here and there next season, although the latest player touted for a move to the Emirates could now get in his way.

Arsenal transfer news

According to a recent report from Turkish publication Nutuk, Arsenal have maintained their interest in Fenerbahçe left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.

In fact, the report has revealed that, alongside German giants Borussia Dortmund, the Gunners have already seen a €20m – £17m – offer rejected by the Süper Lig side, as they value the 24-year-old at €35m, which converts to £30m.

It appears that the North Londoners will have to seriously up their next offer if they want to get this deal over the line, and while it could impact Lewis-Skelly's game time, Kadioglu looks like a signing worth making.

Kadioglu's potential impact at Arsenal

Now, before we look at some of Kadioglu's impressive numbers, why would he be a barrier to game time for Lewis-Skelly?

Well, the simple answer is that he's primarily played as a left-back in recent seasons, and if Arteta and Co were planning to give the Hale Ender some limited minutes there next season, they might not be able to with the Turkish international joining the club's long list of left-backs.

Moreover, like the 17-year-old, alongside excelling on the left of a back four, the Fenerbahçe ace is something of a utility player who has been deployed all over the pitch in his career thus far, from rightwing to defensive midfield.

This ability to plug gaps and his experience of top-flight football would likely see him picked over the exciting prospect every time a game is on the line, and in a season in which the objective is to win everything, that's going to be most games.

So, bringing the Arnhem-born gem would almost certainly impact Lewis-Skelly's development in the immediate future, but given the 20-capped international's ability, it might well be worth it.

Ferdi Kadiolgu for Fenerbahce.

For example, the "electric" full-back, as dubbed by data analyst Ben Mattinson, made 51 appearances last season, in which he scored three goals and provided five assists, equating to an average of a goal involvement every 6.37 games, which is seriously impressive for a player in his position.

Ultimately, signing Kadioglu has one clear drawback, but his positional versatility, quality, and experience are three big bonuses. If Arsenal want to finally get over the line next season, then adding the Turkish star to the squad this summer would certainly help.

Kraigg Brathwaite: 'As a Test team, West Indies are on a great path'

West Indies captain also confident that Holder and Bravo, who missed the Bangladesh tour, will fit in seamlessly

ESPNcricinfo staff21-Mar-2021

Jason Holder and Darren Bravo had opted out of the Bangladesh tour, where West Indies won the Test series 2-0•Getty Images

In a recent change, West Indies appointed opener Kraigg Brathwaite as full-time Test captain following a memorable 2-0 win in Bangladesh under his leadership. That series saw massive contributions from newcomers Kyle Mayers, Nkrumah Bonner and Joshua Da Silva, albeit some of them found a place in the side only because regulars like the then Test captain Jason Holder and the experienced Darren Bravo had opted out of the tour. Now with Sri Lanka set to play two Tests against West Indies starting with the first game in Antigua from Sunday, Brathwaite – now permanently in charge of the side – and his team management will have Holder and Bravo back, leaving them with a happy headache.”The two of them are quality international cricketers and we know what they can give [to the side],” he said in a media interaction. “Jason is the No. 1 allrounder in the world and Darren Bravo is a quality batsman. So they will fit in – [it will be] quite normal to be honest.”Related

Holder, Bravo return to Kraigg Brathwaite-led WI Test side

West Indies may be close to having their best side together for the Sri Lanka series, but Brathwaite wants them approach to the upcoming Tests the same way they did in Bangladesh.”We have a good group [of players] and as I said from [the] Bangladesh [squad], the team that went there was a good team,” he said. “And I think here [also] it is pretty much the same. As a team we came together nicely – we came from Bangladesh while some came from the 50-over [domestic competition], and we’ve gelled nicely as a team. So for me, it is the pretty much the same.”We have the same attitude [like what we had in Bangladesh], the same determination and the same fight, and we want to keep that discipline. As a Test team, we are on a great path with guys going and grabbing opportunities to score runs, and on a great path to play teams in the Test arena.”One aspect that stood out for West Indies during their Test series in Bangladesh was the way their batsmen handled the hosts’ spinners. Bangladesh played four spinners – including the left-arm spin of the veteran Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam, and offspinners Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nayeem Hasan – in the first Test where West Indies chased down a massive 395 on the final day.Sri Lanka have also arrived with their own bunch of spinners, having at their disposal the variety provided by left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya, legspinner Wanindu Hasaranga and offspinner Dhananjaya de Silva. But Brathwaite sounded confident of repeating what his side did in Bangladesh, and wanted his batsmen to “trust themselves”.”We came from Bangladesh facing a lot of spin throughout the whole day [of a Test],” he said at the prospect of facing spin for a long duration. “So pretty much the plans won’t change; I just want the guys to trust themselves. We came out with different plans how we want to go about each bowler – whether a pacer or a spinner – and the main thing is that we are not taking it for granted. We’re not thinking that we won’t get spin here. They have some quality spinners, but we have plans to go about each bowler and we’re going to trust them 100% – as simple as that.”In terms of the combination, we’ll decide a little later. But the team is ready to go to be honest. They’re confident, there’s intensity in the nets.”
